INTRODUCTION

Made using technology developed by the Brassert firm, these automatic-cleaning filters have been manufactured in MONTMELIAN (France) since 1956 under the successive names Brassert, CMS BRAILLON and, since 2001, CMS FILTRATION.

Renowned among their many users for being robust and simple to use, many of these units have been in operation for over 30 years!

GENERAL

cms filtration automatic coarse screen filters are designed for use with pressurised water and, in certain conditions, with other liquids.

The thresholds range from 90 µm to 3 mm.

Standard nominal outputs range from 10 to more than 5,000 m3/hour for the C / D series and 10 to 1,000 m3/hour for the E series.

They are all characterised by the principle of unblocking filtering elements by counter-current, without interrupting filtration.

Automatic cleaning minimises water losses and maintains the overall load loss at a low value.

A speciality of cms filtration for several decades now, the robust mechanical design of our filters guarantees a long life-span with only the most basic maintenance requirements: annual adjustment of the space between the cleaning plate and filter elements for the C / D range and replacement of the filter elements every 3 to 5 years.

Their great reliability avoids the need for costly, space-consuming BACK-UP systems.
